Citi, the leading global bank, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 160 countries and jurisdictions. Citi provides consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.
With many different locations, each with its own set of banking products and promotions, Citibank China wanted to increase their efficiency in updating their customers from the respective regions about product and promotional updates.
A simple and straightforward web-based content management system was created to allow regional system admins to log in online and update products and promotions for individual locations. The system which then leads to a front end iPad application, is easily customizable for different kinds of data formats and presentations such as video, text files, pdf files, forms and images. It also has enhanced security with encrypted files between the CMS and iPad.
